Air India Bans Passenger Who Urinated on Fellow Flyer for 30 Days, Forms Committee to Probe Lapses on Part of Crew
India’s premium airline, Air India on Wednesday banned a passenger who urinated on a female passenger in an inebriated state aboard an Air India flight from New York to Delhi on November 26 on Air India flight AI-102. The ban has been imposed for 30 days. The incident came to light only after the woman sent a letter to N Chandrasekaran, chairman of Tata Group. Air India spokesperson said “We’ve also constituted an internal committee to probe lapses on part of Air India’s crew & address the deficiencies that delayed quick redressal of the situation.
