After a considerable gap, Marvel is coming up with its new Disney+ series. Agatha All Along is premiering on Disney+ (in India on Disney+ Hotstar), with the first two episodes landing on September 18, 2024 (September 19 in India). A spinoff of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)’s first series, WandaVision, Agatha All Along is based on the previous series’ antagonist, Agatha Harkness, with Kathryn Hahn reprising her role as the evil witch, as it returns to Westview, the OG show’s location setting. With nine episodes, Agatha All Along is reportedly a dark and twisted series with elements of a musical. Jac Schaeffer is the showrunner. The series had its world premiere on September 17 in Los Angeles. Some critics and online reviewers have also managed to see a few episodes of the series, and judging by the first positive reactions on social media, they are in love with Marvel’s new show.
Most reactions are praising the tone, direction and performances, particularly that of Kathryn Hahn and Aubrey Plaza. A couple have even praised the songs used in the series.
