A fatal accident at Raipur Chowk in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun, on Friday afternoon claimed the life of 28-year-old Sivankar Bahuguna and left his friend Vijendra Rawat severely injured. The two were riding a scooter when a truck, coming from the opposite direction, collided with them. Bahuguna, a Nathuwala resident, died instantly after being caught under the truck, while Rawat sustained serious injuries. Authorities arrived swiftly, recovering Bahuguna’s body and providing medical aid to Rawat. The truck has been seized, and efforts are underway to apprehend the driver. Although the victim’s family has yet to file a formal complaint, legal proceedings have begun.
