Indore (Madhya Pradesh): While traffic is already running from one side of Khajrana flyover, the remaining work on the other side will also be completed in the next 10 days and it is expected that the flyoverтАЩs second arm will be started in this month. At present, the asphalt layer is being laid and after 20 December, traffic will be started on this arm too, said officials.
The IDA has constructed flyovers at four major squares. Out of these, two flyovers Bhawarkua and Phooti Kothi have been opened, while traffic is running on only one side of Lavkush and Khajrana and the remaining side of both flyovers will also be opened this month itself, officials added.
Right now, the opening of one arm at Lavkush Square has made a lot of difference in traffic, and the same is the situation at Khajrana Square. IDA officials said that now the traffic between Bengali Square and Robot Square has become easier with one arm. In the next 10 days, the authority will complete the work of the second arm as well.
The authority is also getting the feasibility survey done for the flyovers to be built at the major squares of AB Road, and in the last board meeting, it was decided to get a survey done for two routes of the cable car as well.
