Toronto,┬аNovember 12:┬аA Tesla Model Y car┬аreportedly caught on fire┬аat┬аLake Shore Boulevard in Toronto, burning four Indian-origin people to death.┬аThe four burned┬аpeople were of Indian origin.┬аAccording to the reports, the four friends were unable to get out of the┬аTesla Model Y because the electronic doors failed to open. Only one female in her 20s survived the Tesla EV fire incident in October 2024.

The Tesla Model Y crash┬аreportedly caused the fire and disabled the door until a Canada Post employee, Rick Harper, used a metal pole to┬аsmash the car window and rescue the woman. She then told the reporters about the incident and┬аemphasised that┬аshe couldn’t open the doors of the┬аelectric vehicle after the crash caused the fire.┬аMercedes-Benz EV Fire in South Korea: German Luxury Carmaker Falsely Tells Dealers To Mention Only ChinaтАЩs CATL Battery Cells in Electric Vehicles, Under Investigation.

Four Indian-Origin People Died in Tesla Model Y Fire Incident in┬аToronto, Canada

According to a┬аreport┬аby┬аMirror,┬аthe┬аfour┬аpeople burned during the Tesla Model Y car fire in Canada were 25-year-old Neelraj Gohil (brother), 29-year-old Ketaba Gohil (sister) and two┬аmales, Jay Sisodiya and Digvijay Patel. All of these four people┬аlost┬аtheir lives due to a fire┬аin Tesla’s EV.

Rick Harper┬аmentioned┬аthat the desperate female he┬аrescued would have tried getting out of the car┬аby┬аopening the door. However, he said he couldn’t determine whether┬аthe battery┬аor┬аsomething else caused the doors┬аto not open.┬аThe┬аwoman, being the only┬аsurvivor of the crash,┬аscrambled out of the car head-first after the rescuer smashed the window open.

Rick┬аHarper said the smoke was┬а“so thick” and did not know if anyone else was in the EV.
