Nadiad, October 31: Nearly two weeks after the arrest of 54-year-old Chandrakant Patel, a painter from Gujarat’s Nadiad, investigations have revealed he allegedly raped four young girls and recorded the acts on his cellphone. The Vaso police arrested Patel on October 13 after the parents of one of the victims, a girl between 8 and 11 years old, reported the incident. Concerned for their daughter’s health, the parents questioned her, which led to the shocking disclosure.

According to Kheda police, Patel reportedly lured the children to his house with treats such as money, chocolates, and biscuits. Once the girls were alone with him, he allegedly raped them and used his phone to record the obscene videos. Police found hundreds of such videos on his device, which has now been sent for forensic analysis. Following the initial complaint, the parents of other young victims also approached the police, prompting an investigation to determine if there might be additional victims of sex assault. The case has stirred outrage and concern in the area, with officials urging parents to be vigilant.
