This season, however, introduces a new twist with Delhi-based socialites Shalini Passi, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Kalyani Saha Chawla joining the cast, bringing a supposed Delhi vs Mumbai rivalry into the spotlight. Despite the hype, critics have expressed disappointment, calling the Delhi vs Mumbai conflict forced and finding the drama repetitive with “nothing new” to offer. News18: Unlike the first two seasons of the show, which became a guilty pleasure with their humorous moments of delusion interspersed with relatability, the third season fails to deliver the same ‘masala’. What made the first two seasons work was the real life camaraderie among the four Bollywood wives. However, the ‘Delhi girls’ do not match the hype because they are not close friends in reality, so there is no real tension.

Hindustan Times: “The show feels like it has run its course with frivolous gossip and drama so now this silly production has added new faces just to sprinkle some tadka into the same old template of the show. But instead of tadka, the new additions feel like annoying elaichis that can ruin any dish.”

OTTPlay: “Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives brings nothing new even after including the new faces and new theme of Delhi vs Mumbai. It’s the same old drama, swags, and laughs.”

Pinkvilla: “The entire conflict of the fabulous wives of Delhi and Mumbai is very superficial. It looks too fake and forced and that can really turn you off if you are looking for some genuine sasse, spunk and spice. The makers lack the vision to make a compelling scripted-reality show.”

Despite the intriguing premise, the show failed to meet the sky-high expectations of the audience. Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives Season 3 premiered on Netflix on October 18.
