Tesla Catches Fire: Viral Video Shows Tesla Car Bursting Into Flames at Flooded Garage in Florida’s Pinellas County After Hurricane Helene

Hurricane Helene recently hit the US, causing around 91 deaths in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Virginia states. Amid this, a video shared online by Florida officials showed a Tesla EV catching fire during Hurricane Helene. Florida’s Pinellas County Government shared a Facebook post with a video showing an electric vehicle by Elon Musk’s company burning into flames at a flooded garage in the state. The officials said EVs flooded in saltwater could catch fire and shared guidelines to avoid such accidents. The  Pinellas country’s government post said that the individuals should not charge, drive or otherwise store their EVs or E-bikes in their homes or garages.
