In yet another case of police brutality in Madhya Pradesh, a video from Betul district’s Multai surfaced showing a man tied to a window and beaten with a stick by a sub-inspector (SI). The incident occurred on the night of September 18 and went viral, prompting the victim, Ajay Farkade, to file a complaint with Betul SP Nishchal Jhariya. Farkade, who owns a shop, was allegedly detained on suspicion of selling drugs. Following the complaint, SI Sunil Sareyam was suspended. The SP stated that an inquiry is underway, and further disciplinary action will be taken after the investigation.
