New Delhi, September 1: Just like the previous month, September 2024 is packed with new car and bike launches for the Indian market. Some models are confirmed, while others are speculated to launch in India. Last month, we saw several car and bike launches with new designs and upgraded features. In August 2024, Royal Enfield Classic 350, BSA Gold Star 650, 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS, Ola Roadster X and Roadster Pro were launched in India. 2024 Hero Glamour, TVS iQube Celebration Edition and TVS Jupiter 110 also arrived in the Indian market last month.

In terms of car launches, the companies launched their new models such as the Audi Q8 Facelift, updated Citroen C3 Aircross, Hyundai Venue S+, Mahindra Thar ROXX, Citroen Basalt Coupe SUV, Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus Onam Editions and Tata Cruvv EV were among the most notable car launches in August 2024. List of Cars to Launch in September 2024

This month, the Tata Curvv ICE version, special edition Skoda Slavia and Skoda Kushaq and Hyundai Alcazar facelift versions are confirmed to launch in India. Soon, the launch date for other anticipated models may be announced by the respective automobile companies.

  • Tata Curvv ICE Version: Tata launched its Curvv EV last month and confirmed the launch date of its 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. The Tata Curvv ICE variants will be launched on September 2, 2024 (tomorrow)
  • Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo, Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo: Skoda will unveil its special edition versions of its popular Slavia and Kushaq models on September 2, 2024. The cars will have 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines. The prices will be revealed tomorrow.
  • Mercedes Maybach EQS: Mercedes will launch its new Maybach EQS on September 5. It is said to be the second luxury electric car launched by the German automaker and likely the most expensive EV by Mercedes-Benz.
  • Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Hyundai has confirmed that its new three-row SUV will be launched on September 9, 2024. Booking for this model is already open at a token amount of INR 25,000. The Hyundai Alcazar Facelift will offer two engine options: 1.5-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel.
  • MG Windsor EV: Morris Garages will launch its new electric vehicle with a spacious design and modern features. The MG Windsor EV is expected to offer a range of around 460 km on a single charge. This car is inspired by the MG Comet EV. The Windsor EV launch is set for September 11, 2024.
  • BYD e6 Facelift: BYD’s new MPV e6 will be launched in India this month. Its expected range on a single charge is 420 km to 520 km.

List of Bikes To Launch in September 2024

In September, the motorcycle and two-wheeler companies will introduce their new models in the Indian market. Today, Royal Enfield launched its new 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 in seven colour options and new feature upgrades.   • 2024 Jawa 42: Jawa Motorcycle is set to launch its new Jawa 42 in India on September 3, 2024. The bike is expected to have a new body style and is rumoured to cost around INR 2 lakh.
  • BMW F 900 GS, BMW F 900 GS Adventure: BMW is gearing up to introduce its new adventure motorcycles for Indian consumers in September 2024. Pre-bookings for the BMW F 900 GS and BMW F 900 GS Adventure have already started, and the launch may take place soon.
  • Suzuki GSX-800: The new GSX-800 will also be released this month, likely on September 30. The new Suzuki motorcycle may cost around INR 11 to 12 lakh.
  • Kawasaki Versys-X 300: Kawasaki may launch its new motorcycle this month, with an INR of around 4.80 to INR 5.20 lakh. It will be an adventure bike. 

In addition to the above motorcycles, the highly anticipated 2024 Hero Destiny 125 will also be launched in India in September 2024. The Destiny 125 is said to have sporty bodywork in a throwback retro style. The 125cc scooter is expected to provide better comfort, storage, and performance.
