Since the subject of the film makes it not exactly enticing to attract the masses like Devgn’s last hit, Shaitaan, it was imperative for Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha to catch the attention of the multiplex-going crowds.

It is important to note that Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is not a film like Devgn’s Drishyam 2 or Shaitaan; going by the trailers, it is clear that Auron Mein Kahan Dum is a movie that would grow its business more on good reviews and positive word-of-mouth response from the audience. That said, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha could have taken on a stronger start had the pre-release promotions managed to create an exciting buzz for the film. The trailers elicited an average response from the viewers, and Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani’s music wasn’t attractive enough to turn chartbusters.
