New Delhi, July 16: Hyundai Exter CNG Duo, a new Exter offering dual-cylinder tech, is launched in India. The new Exter featuring twin-cylinder CNG is introduced in three variants, which also include the new Hyundai Exter Knight series. Hyundai India has launched its new Exter CNG Duo with the aim of providing low running costs amid the rising prices of traditional fuels like petrol.

Hyundai Exter CNG Duo retains the same look, boot space and some of the features. However, this new Exter is launched by the South Korean automobile maker to address sustainability and provide mobility solutions. Hyundai Exter Dual Cylinder CNG Specifications and Features

Hyundai Exter Hy-CNG Duo packs a 1.2-litre-naturally aspirated petrol engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. According to the report by NDTV, the dual-cylinder Exter from Hyundai offers an ARAI fuel efficiency of 27.1 km per kilogram. The engine and transmission of the new Exter generate a maximum of 95bhp power and 95.2Nm torque. The company said that the customers could seamlessly switch between petrol and CNG fuel options through ECU (Electronics Control Unit).

Besides, the new Hyundai Exter Dual Cylinder CNG comes with all the much-required features, including an 8-inch infotainment system, hill assist control (HAC), a smart electronic sunroof, LED DRLs, an LED Taillamp, fully automatic climate control, and more besides the company-fitted CNG fuel tank with a capacity of 60 litres. In terms of safety, the Hyundai Exter Dual Cylinder CNG model comes in three variants: S, SX, and Exter Knight SX. Hyundai Exter Dual Cylinder CNG Prices of All Variants

Hyundai Exter CNG Duo S trim price in India starts at INR 8.50 lakh, while the Hyundai Exter CNG Duo SX is launched at INR 9.23 lakh. The top variant is the Hyundai Exter Knight SX CNG Duo, and the price starts at INR 9.38 lakh. All of these are ex-showroom prices. For comparison, the single-cylinder Hyundai Exter S is priced at INR 8.43 lakh and the SX model at INR 9.16 lakh.
