Hyundai Exter Knight Edition Teased, Launch Is Imminent; Check Expected Specifications, Features and Likely Price

New Delhi, July 10: Hyundai India teased its new Hyundai Exter variant today through its social media post. In the teaser video, Hyundai shared the upcoming car’s front design, featuring the familiar H-shaped headlights. The company did not share many details on its social media post with the teaser video; however, the reports said that it would be called Hyundai Exter Knight Edition. 

As per the report by Times of India, the upcoming Hyundai Exter Knight Edition is expected to offer several identical features as the standard model. Hyundai’s new variant of its popular micro SUV will reportedly be called “Knight Edition”. Hyundai Exter’s new edition will be the fourth in the lineup to launch with “Knight” features. Hyundai Exter Knight Edition Design, Interior and Exterior 

The upcoming Exter Knight Edition from Hyundai Motors is expected to have features like automatic climate control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, built-in navigation, wireless charging, and more. The car is also expected to have an 8-inch touchscreen, a single-pane electric roof, keyless entry, connected car tech, and more. 

In terms of safety, the Hyundai Exter Knight Edition is expected to offer six airbags, three-point seatbelt, ISOFIX, seatbelt reminders, rear parking sensors, hill assist control, and ABS with EBD (Electronic Breakforce Distribution). Design-wise, the car is expected to flaunt black, featuring a red accent on the tailgate along with a black grille, roof rails, pillars, alloy wheels, logo and letting, etc. The all-black design of the Hyundai Exter Knight Edition is expected to accompany a red accent throughout the interior, giving it a more sporty look. Tesla’s Robotaxi To Launch on August 8, Elon Musk Expects Quasi-Infinite Demand; Check Details.

Hyundai Exter Knight Edition Engine, Transmission 

Hyundai Exter Knight Edition would have major changes and upgrades in terms of design, not in the powertrain department. The car is expected to have the same 1.2-litre naturally-inspired four-cylinder engine and five-speed manual or AMT transmission. The engine can churn a maximum of 83hp power and 144Nm torque. The Hyundai Exter Knight Edition price in India is expected to increase slightly compared to current variants. The increase might be around INR 30,000 to INR 50,000.
