Taking to his Instagram handle on Wednesday (June 12), Kartik Aaryan shared a video from the very first screening of Chandu Champion, which was held in Delhi. The screening was graced by Kartik Aaryan, Kabir Khan, Murlikant Petkar and his son Arjun Petkar. The video featured heartfelt moments as the actor and the real-life hero shared their emotions over the homage paid to him. Murlikant Petkar was moved after the screening and wasn’t alone in his tears; his son, Arjun Petkar, was also deeply affected. Arjun was seen hugging director Kabir Khan and actor Kartik Aaryan, expressing his gratitude for the marvel they created.

Kartik Aaryan’s Chandu Champion is a biographical drama based on the life of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medalist. The film follows the inspiring journey of the “Man who refused to surrender.” Jointly produced by Kabir Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala, it also stars Palak Lalwani and Bhuvan Arora in key roles.
