Wyatt Pike has released his first original song less than a week after abruptly dropping out of тАЬAmerican IdolтАЭ.
The singer took to Instagram on Monday, April 19 to share тАЬFriday NightsтАЭ with fans.
тАЬAs promised, hereтАЩs a video of my tune тАШFriday NightsтАЩ! I had fun filming this for you yesterday, hope you enjoy,тАЭ he wrote in the caption.
The former тАЬAmerican IdolтАЭ Top 16 contestant shocked viewers with his sudden exit from the show.
Ryan Seacrest was announcing the Top 12 when he broke the news during last MondayтАЩs episode.

тАЬBefore we get to the results, I have to tell you that finalist Wyatt Pike will not be competing in the competition. He had to drop out, but we wish him the very best,тАЭ Seacrest said.
ItтАЩs still unclear why Pike dropped out.
Pike had travelled back home to Park City, Utah, so with the strict quarantine rules for filming тАЬAmerican IdolтАЭ in Los Angeles, Wyatt might have not been able to return in time.
On Wednesday, he shared an Instagram post, revealing he тАЬhad to leave the @AmericanIdol competition for personal reasons but am so thankful I get to play music for the rest of my life.тАЭ
