BMW M 1000 R Superbike Launched in India: From Specifications To Design and Price, Here’s Everything You Should Know

Mumbai, October 5: BMW has launched its new superbike BMW M 1000 R in India today with price. The new M 1000 R comes with attractive features and specifications. The new BMW superbike comes with a sporty design and powerful performance. The Standard bike is available for booking in India at Rs 33,00,000, and the Competition variant is available at Rs 38,00,000. Both ex-showroom prices may vary according to the location. 

On its official website, BMW Motorrad announced its new BMW M 1000 R motorcycle today. The new bike comes with features like a four-cylinder engine, winglets, TFT display, new chassis, new silencer, LED headlights, dominating front look, aggressive rear, mirrors, wind deflectors, tank trims, rear-wheel cover with chain guard and much more. BMW M 100 R Launched in India: 

BMW M 1000 R Specifications:

The BMW’s M 100 R specifications include a 1.5-inch TFT display with an “M” logo animation during startup. The superbike also offers electric cruise control, a USB charging socket on the back, adaptive turning lights, heated grips, and new LED light options. The new M 1000 R comes with new winglets that generate aerodynamic downforce that helps prevent high flyers from taking off. The benefit of the new winglet is maximum riding stability, the front wheel’s lower tendency and the chance of accelerating early and braking later during cornering. BMW says that the bike offers a high level of performance due to its high-end assistants. BMW provides the following riding modes: Rain, Road, Dynamic, Race, and Race Pro. 

BMW M 1000 R Engine: 

The M 1000 R comes with a four-cylinder water/oil-cooled engine with the support of BMW ShiftCam. The machine is able to provide up to 210 hp power at 13,705 rpm, as per the website. The reports say the new M 1000 R can generate a peak torque of 113 Nm at 11,000 rpm. The engine can take you from 0 to 200 km/ h within 7.2 seconds and 0 to 100 km/h within 3.2 seconds and can offer maximum engine speed of 14,600 rpm. The new BMW M 1000 R comes with a lightweight M battery, M-GPS Datalogger, M-GPS Laptrigger functionality and facilitating OBD interface, as per reports. The new BMW superbike is available at the mentioned price at all the authorised “BMW Motorrad” dealerships in India. According to the reports, the booking for this motorcycle starts today; however, the company will begin delivering the bike in January 2024.
