Mumbai, October 3: Honda Cars India has launched its new Honda City Elegant Edition and Amaze Elite Special Edition in India today. The new cars come with powerful new looks and features. The new Honda City “Elegant Edition” is launched between Rs 12,57,400 to 13,82,000 (ex-showroom). The new Honda Amaze “Elite Edition” is launched between Rs 903,900 to Rs 985,900. According to reports, the new car is based on the “V” variant of the sedan and comes with CVT and MT options.

Honda launched its new City and Amaze with design upgrades and features; however, they have identical mechanical properties to the standard models. According to a report, the new Honda Amaze Elite Edition is based on the top-end “VX” variant available in manual and CVT transmissions. The new special edition cars of Amaze and City are available in all the colour options. Honda City Elegant Edition Key Features:

Honda launched its City Elegant Edition right before the festive season with LED strips, sleek-looking illumination, a wireless smartphone charger, a new legroom lamp, and an elegant edition badge. The new Honda City “Elegant Edition” is powered by a 4-cylinder 1.5 litre NA petrol engine that offers up to 119 hp power and 145 Nm peak torque. The car comes with a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.

Honda Amaze Elite Edition Key Features:

According to reports, The new Honda Amaze “Elite Edition” offers new Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, front sliding armrest, elite edition seat cover, ORVM, trunk spoiler with LED, and step illumination. The 1.2 litre NA petrol engine of the new Honda Amaze is able to churn 90 hp power and 110 Nm peak torque. The reports further say the engine has a 5-speed manual or CVT automatic gearbox. The new Honda Amaze and Honda City variants are launched ahead of the festive season to offer more styling, convenience and new features. As per the reports, Mr Yuichi Murata, Honda Cars India Ltd Director of Marketing and Sales, said that the company is gearing up for the festive season to offer enhanced styling to customers and attractive prices. Besides the Elite Edition of Honda Amaze and Elegant Edition of Honda City, the company will provide promotional offers and discounts for the customers.
