Mumbai, October 2: Czech-based automobile manufacturer Skoda has introduced its new Skoda Slavia Matte Edition with top specifications and design upgrades. According to recent reports, the new Slavia sedan car comes ahead of the festive season and offers a new grille, door, mirror, and other exterior upgrades. The company has also reduced the entry price of Kushaq and set it to Rs 10.89 lakh.
The Skoda Slavia Matte Edition comes with a new Carbon Steel shade, chrome finish and gloss-black finishing on windows and doors. A few months ago, Skoda Kushaq Matte Edition with matte paint on the exterior and inserts. As per the reports, the price of the new car has yet to be revealed by Skoda; however, it may announce it soon. Skoda Slavia Matte Edition Announced Specifications:
According to the latest reports, the new Skoda Slavia Matte Edition comes with all the existing powertrain options. It comes with a 1.0-litre or 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, a 6-speed manual, 7-speed DCT and 6-speed Torque converter. Skoda’s new Matte Edition offers an aggressive sedan look with carbon steel paint and gloss-black contrasts. The Matte Edition may come with seat-adjustment options for front passengers as well.
Besides the Matte Edition, the Slavia sedan is available in Lava Blues, Tornado Red, Candy White, Crystal Blue, Carbon Steel, and Brilliant Silver options. The reports say that the Skoda Slavia Matte Edition comes with a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen system, Android Auto support, Apple CarPlay support, and similar other features. Skoda Slavia Matte Edition Expected Price and Availability:
Skoda has yet to unveil its Slavia Matte Edition’s pricing officially, but as per the reports, the new model will likely have a Rs 40,000 increased price to ex-showroom. Skoda has also revealed the prices of the base Active trims of Kushaq and Slavia besides the Matte Edition model. As per the reports, the Slavia Active will be priced at Rs 12.92 lakh on-road in Mumbai. Skoda Kushaq will be available at Rs 12.93 lakh.
