Citroen C3 Aircross, Launched in India, Better Than Honda Elevate or Kia Seltos? Compare Specs, Features and Prices

Mumbai, September 21: French automobile maker Citroen has recently launched its most anticipated SUV, Citroen C3 Aircross, in India. The new car is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh in the Indian market, lower than the Honda Elevate launched a few days back. The C3 Aircross is launched with three variants: You, Plus and Max. Citroen has only unveiled the price of the car’s base model and is yet to announce the price of other higher variants.

Citroen C3 Aircross mid-range and higher variants are expected to cost customers Rs 11.5 lakh and Rs 12.5 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom). The new model competes with other SUVs, such as the recently launched Honda Elevate, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Citroen C3 and Honda Elevate Comparison:

The newly launched C3 includes a starting price of 9.90 lakh to 12.5 lakh and comes in three variants: You, Plus and Max. On the other hand, Honda Elevate comes with Rs 11 lakh onwards price and the following variants: SV, V, VX, and ZX. The price of the high-end models is around Rs 16 lakh. Citroen has 4,300 mm length, 1,796 width and 1,654 mm height, whereas Honda Elevate offers 4,312 mm length, 17,90 width and 1,650 height. Citroen C3 Aircross gets a 10.2-inch infotainment screen, and Elevate gets a 10.25-inch screen. Both the cars come with ABS, 17-inch alloy wheels, and sensors.

Citroen C3 Aircross comes with features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, reverse camera, 2nd and 3rd row AC vents, 2-airbags, TPMS, hill-hold assist, etc. Honda Elevate has a lane watch camera, automatic climate control, 6 airbags, rear parking camera, and other features like hill-hold assist. C3 Aircross has a 1.2-litre single-engine turbocharged petrol option with 100 hp power output and 170 nm torque. Citroen C3 and Kia Seltos Comparison:

The Kia Seltos base variant starts from Rs 10.90 lakh and has unique features. The high-end variants can go up to Rs 20 lakh and offer additional safety and comfortable riding features. Kia Seltos comes with a 1.5 litre MT engine in the HTE model. The engine produces 115 hp and 114 nm torque with panoramic sunroof, autonomous braking, lane keep assist, and a 360-degree camera. It also comes with a hill-hold assist and a 6-airbag, just like the Honda Elevate. The attractive feature of Seltos is dual-zone climate control. The Citroen C3 Aircross, Honda Elevate and Kia Seltos are available for booking and buy online. Citroen may announce a higher variant with advanced safety features soon.
