As the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) commences its 2023 school teacher recruitment exam from August 24 to 26, a unique scene unfolded at Patna Junction. Aspiring candidates for the BPSC teacher exam were spotted sleeping on the platforms the night before the examination. Due to the BPSC exam, Railway stations in Bihar have witnessed a huge crowd since August 23. Reportedly, with a whopping 8 lakh candidates scheduled to participate in the exam across 76 centres, the scale of this recruitment drive is impressive. To ensure a fair and secure examination process, an extensive network of 12 thousand CCTV cameras has been deployed for monitoring purposes. The exam, spanning three days and two shifts, has garnered immense attention from across the state.
