A new and Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh will be created with the cooperation of the youth: Chief Minister Shri ChouhaMadhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said his government will empower the youth to learn various skills and prepare themselves for employment. The chief minister launched the youth portal and said that the Mukhyamantri Yuva Kaushal Kamai Yojana will be effective from July 1, the government said in a statement.
While addressing the ‘Youth Mahapanchayat’ to mark the martyrdom of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, Chouhan announced that an ‘Aatmanirbhar’ Madhya Pradesh will be built only with the cooperation of the youth.
“The state government is ready to make all possible arrangements and provide necessary cooperation so that the youth can fulfil their dreams and be successful. In this chain, the youth policy of the state is being launched today”, he said, adding that the youth of the state will learn skills by associating with the best establishments, they will also earn a sum of eight thousand rupees a month.
Besides inaugurating the youth portal, Chouhan launched the youth policy and unveiled its booklet. The chief minister transferred ₹17.94 crore in the accounts of 20,937 beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Jan-Kalyan Shiksha Protsahan Yojana, ₹175 crore for the education of 3,182 students studying in institutions of the country and state under Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana, ₹4.38 crore to 132 players who won 66 medals for the state in the 36th Games, and ₹12.90 crore to 25,800 daughters in their accounts under Gaon Ki Beti Yojana.
The Madhya Pradesh CM gave contract letters to the youth for apprenticeship in prestigious industrial units existing in the state.
“A grand, glorious, powerful, and prosperous India is being built under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. With the initiative of PM Modi, the country has become familiar with the struggle and sacrifice of known, unknown and lost heroes of freedom”, he said.
Chouhan announced that a separate merit list will be prepared for admission in MBBS and BDS for students studying in government schools of the state. For this, 5 percent seats will be reserved in colleges. The CM also said that a state-level youth commission will be reconstituted in the state by 5th April. The other announcements include preparation of a Youth budget, MP Youth games, Global Skill Park in Bhopal, incubator seats to be increased ten times in the state etc.
