NEW DELHI: Three northeastern states- Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland- will go to polls next month to elect a new government.
Meghalaya will vote in a single phase on February 16.

Here’s the detailed schedule for the various events vis-à-vis Meghalaya assembly election:
Gazette notification issue: Jan 31
Last date of filing nomination: Feb
Scrutiny of nominations: Feb 8
Last date for withdrawal of nomination: Feb 10
Date of polling: Feb 27
Date of counting: March 2
Election process to be completed by : March 4
