A man has been shot dead in Sydney’s CBD.
Police said officers were called to Bridge Street, near George Street, about 10.25pm on Thursday.
Paramedics rushed the man to St Vincent’s Hospital but he died shortly after.
A police spokeswoman confirmed the shooter was still on the loose.
Police said the man, who was treated at the scene, had not been formally identified.
A crime scene has been established and the homicide squad is investigating, along with officers from the Sydney city police area command.
