WhatsApp is continuously working hard to bring new features to its platform. Earlier today, the Meta-owned company added a new Preview Voice Message feature to the instant messaging platform. With the help of this feature, users can hear their recordings before sending them to anybody. In addition to this, WhatsApp also offers the ability to speed up playback of a received voice message. 1. Open WhatsApp and open the chat window of the contact to whom you want to send a voice message.
2. Tap on the microphone and slide it up to open hands-free voice recording.
3. Record your message by speaking and tap on the ‘Stop’ button provided after you have done the recording.
4. Then tap on the ‘Play’ button to preview your recorded voice message, press the send button and you are good to go.
5. If you want to delete the recording, press the ‘Trash’ button.
6. You can also increase or decrease the speed of a received voice message by pressing the ‘1x’, ‘1.5x’ or ‘2x’ buttons.
