“The couple was crying so much, so embarrassed, that even the police didn’t know what to do. The Cyber Cell also took note of the incident. The reassuring part was that when the couple was captured on camera, Jubin Nautiyal’s song was playing in their room. As soon as this footage was uploaded on YouTube, it was immediately taken down following a strike,” the man alleged.

Meanwhile, installing a CCTV camera in a hotel room booked by a couple and leaking its footage is a serious punishable offense under Section 77 of the BNS Act and Section 66E of the IT Act.
