Mumbai, September 18: Triumph Motorcycles India on Tuesday launched the MY2025 Speed 400 alongside more affordable variant of the Speed 400, expanding the 400cc lineup. While Speed T4 is the new base variant, the updated Speed 400 gets new features along with new colour options retaining it’s orginal characteristics. The MY2025 is priced at INR 2.4 lakh (ex-showroon), and is available in four shades – Racing Yellow, Pearl Metallic White, Racing Red and Phantom Black.
Additional highlight of the MY2025 Speed 400 are adjustable front clutch and brake levers that get glossy black finish. Feature-wise, Triumph’s updated Speed 400 sports LED lighting, digital multi-information display, ride by wire throttle, bar-end type rear view mirrors, an immobiliser and more. Suspension duties are carried out by 43mm USD forks upfront with 140mm travel and a monoshock setup at the rear with 130mm travel and preload adjustment. Powering the 2025 Triumph Speed 400 is a TR series 398 cc, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The unit makes 39 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 37.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
