New Delhi, September 25: MG Motor India has launched its new cars – MG Astor Blackstorm and MG Hector Snowstorm with a new design. The duo comes with a white and black-themed colour shade that distinguishes them from their respective standard models. The Astor Snowstorm is based on the Sharp Pro variant, and the Hector Snowstorm is based on the Select variant of the model. Some of the specifications and features of these new cars remain the same as the standard trim.
MG Astor Blackstorm price in India starts at INR 13.45 lakh (ex-showroom), and the MG Hector Snowstorm is launched in India at a starting price of INR 21.53 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Astor comes with features like stylish red accents, a honeycomb pattern grille, a digital Bluetooth key and a panoramic sunroof. The new Hector is introduced with an Agryle-Inspired Dimond Mesh Dark Chrome Grille, LED projector headlamps with piano black bezel, all-black alloy wheels with red brake callipers, and LED Blade Smoked connected taillights. MG Astor Blackstorm Specifications, Features and Prices of Each Variant
MG Astor Blackstorm is launched with the same 1.5-litre petrol engine that generates a maximum of 109 bhp power and 144 Nm torque. It is mated with a five-speed manual and automatic gearbox. The car gets black-themed interior which includes an all-black floor console, door trims with red stitches, Sangaria red-themed AC vents, a steering wheel with red stitching and has all-blacked theme and Tuxedo Black upholstery that has red stitching. On the front fenders, the vehicle gets a ‘Blackstorm’ badge. The MG Astor Blackstorm MT variant is priced at INR 13.45 lakh, while the CVT variant is available at INR 14.46 lakh – both ex-showroom prices.
MG Hector Snowstorm Specifications, Features and Prices of Each Variant
MG Hector Snowstorm is available in five-seater to seven-seater options, based on which the price is set differently. The Hector Snowstorm comes with i-Smart with 70+ connected car features. It offers hill assist control, JBL speakers, airbags with a 360-degree around-view camera, and other features for safety and comfort. The dual-tone white and white colour offers the car a distinct look from the standard model. MG Hector Snowstorm retains the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that churns 143 hp power and 250 Nm torque and a 2.0-litre diesel engine offering 168 hp power and 350 Nm torque. The petrol variant is available with CVT transmission, and the diesel comes in a manual unit. The price of MG Hector Snowstorm in India is set differently according to the seats and transmission. The five-seater Hector Snowstorm variant with petrol CVT is available at INR 21.53 lakh, while the five-seater with diesel MT is available at INR 22.24 lakh. The seven-seater Hector Plus Snowstorm petrol CVT and diesel MT are priced at INR 22.29 lakh and 22.82 lakh, respectively. The six-seater Hector Plus Snowstorm with diesel MT is launched at INR 23.00 lakh. All these prices are ex-showroom.
