Mumbai, October 4: KTM India has launched an updated 200 Duke motorcycle with a new 5.5-inch TFT display. The updated version of the KTM 200 Duke carries a price tag of INR 2.03 lakh (ex-showroom), making it costlier by approximately INR 4000 over the predecessor. It’s worth noting that it’s the same display seen on the third-generation 390 Duke, which was introduced last year. The street-naked motorcycle competes with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the Honda Hornet 2.0.
The overall design of the 2024 KTM 200 Duke remains the same as the outgoing model. It is available in three colour options – Electronic Orange, Metallic Silver and Dark Galvano. As a part of the update, the 200 Duke now packs a bigger 5-inch TFT display, replacing the LCD unit offered on the predecessor. The new display has features like turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity for incoming calls, and a customisable display. It also gets a Supermoto ABS mode. The mechanical front of the motorcycle remains untouched. It gets the same 199.5 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which comes clubbed to a 6-speed transmission. The unit makes 25 bhp of maximum power with a peak torque of 19.5 Nm. For suspension, the bike gets an upside-down fork up front and a preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. The motorcycle has a 300 mm front disc brake and 230 mm rear brake, along with standard dual-channel ABS.
