New Delhi, October 3: Kia┬аMotor has launched its two new cars – Kia EV9 electric SUV and Kia Carnival MPV in India. The new┬аmodels come with significant features and specifications. The South Korean┬аautomaker┬аintroduced its new EV9 with cutting-edge features like Terrain Mode, Trinity Panoramic Display and dual sunroof. The car was expected to offer 560 km range on a single charge.
The new Kia EV9 electric SUV and next-gen Kia Carnival MPV come with a host of┬аcomfort, safety and modern features. Design-wise there are several upgrades in both the models as well.

According to the┬аcompany, the new Kia EV9 is “Capable, Connected, Comfortable and Confident”. The new EV9 SUV delivers with 282.6 kW power and 700 Nm of peak torque with its┬аbattery. Kia┬аsaid┬аthat the new car┬аachieve from 0 to 100 kmph within 5.3 seconds.┬аThe Kia EV9 battery can be charged using DC charger in just 24 minutes from 10% to 80%.. The company claimed that the new electric SUV would provide up to 561 km of range on a single charge.┬а The car features Hyundai E-GMP battery platform.
Kia EV9 SUV features Kia Connect 2.0┬аthat offers 100+ features. Kia said that it would be its first over-the-air capable EV with advanced technology like upgradable system and infotainment system. It comes with Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) technology.┬аInside it gets, next-gen Connected Car Navigation Cockpit with Trinity Panoramic Display with information and digital controls. The three-row power seating enables comfort with massage functions. It comes with dual-sunroof, 64-colour Ambient Mood Lighting,
On exterior-side, the car boasts futuristic digital pattern lighting grille,┬а198mm┬аground┬аclearance. The vehicle secures 5-star NCAP and ANCAP safety ratings. Besides, the car comes with ADAS┬аpackage including 27+┬аsmart safety features like Lane Keep Assist, Smart Cruise Control, Blind-View┬аMonitor and more.
