After getting beaten against Australia by 7-1, the Indian hockey team made a solid comeback and won 3-0 against Spain. Simranjeet Singh scored the first goal and then Rupinderpal Singh converted penalties into goals.
Manu Bhaker & Saurabh Chaudhry have failed to qualify for the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event. Saurabh had done well but and shot a total of 96 but Manu shot 92. The two shooters in all shot 380 in Qualification stage 2 and thus they bowed out of the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
