Jack said he wanted to buy the first machine because he had played them for so long and “always wanted one of his own”.
Before Jack’s parents would lend him the money, they made him write a business plan.
“They liked it and they were excited about it,” Jack said.
Baz Compton from the bowlo said he was blown away by the youngster’s age and audacity.
“This wasn’t some kid putting together some homework, this was a professional approach,” Compton said.
Jack’s parents take him to a wholesale toy warehouse where he makes his selections based on price and what is trending.
He restocks every week and has set the machine to pay out more often so his clients keep coming back.
His parents’ investment paid off in six months.
Jack’s dad Dean Bentick said he was really proud he has continued on with the business.
“It’s been over a year now and he puts his money aside,” Bentick said.
Jack’s business is called Jack in the Box Amusements, and he wants to own a whole arcade one day.
