Worry about your future, not country’s, nation is safe in Modi’s hands, BJP tells Cong netas | India News
NEW DELHI: Reacting to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi’s remarks at the party’s three-day meet in Udaipur, BJP on Friday said that the opposition party’s leadership should be more concerned about their survival and how to save it from extinction than being concerned about the country, which is in safe hands under the leadership of PM Modi.
“It is good Congress is doing chintan, which was long due and it was not happening with its ‘Yuvraj’ being busy elsewhere. However, Congress should do chintan about their survival and how to save the party from extinction than being concerned about the BJP and governance,” BJP’s chief spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Anil Baluni said.
The BJP leader said under the leadership of PM Modi, BJP is working for the progress of the country and people have unflinchingly supported the party by voting in its favour consistently. “The whole country wants a stronger Opposition but Congress is frustrated and has been clueless about how to behave as a responsible Opposition. Sonia Gandhi should not be concerned about the country as the country is in safe hands under Modi ji and will continue its upward journey,” Baluni added.
Union jal shakti minister and Lok Sabha MP from Jodhpur, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, said the recent developments in Rajasthan are proof that the chair of CM Ashok Gehlot is in danger. “This is the reason that Gehlot ji is busy performing the arti of Gandhi family on the pretext of Chintan Shivir and cursing the BJP for his failure and that of the party,” Shekhawat said.
