Police are appealing for the public’s help after a man died suddenly at Twin Waters in Queensland on Thursday.

Officers went to bushland near the Twin Waters boat ramp around 5.40pm yesterday where bushwalkers had made the grim discovery of a 49-year-old man’s body.

The man didn’t appear to be injured and a post mortem will be carried out to figure out how he died.

Police are calling on anyone who visited the boat ramp on Nojoor Road yesterday between 8am and 5.40pm.

“Police would also like to speak to anyone who saw the man or his vehicle, a 2012 silver Hyundai Accent, parked in the boat ramp carpark on Nojoor Road,” police said in a statement.

The 49-year-old is described as being of a fair complexion, around 170cm tall, with brown hair. He was wearing black clothing and a black rain jacket.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
