Gorakhpur Shocker: Man Kills Father with Brick After Argument Over Marriage in Uttar Pradesh, Arrested After Disturbing Video Surfaces
A man in Pipraich area of Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur allegedly killed his father by repeatedly hitting him with a brick following a heated argument on Wednesday night. The accused, Kanhaiya Tiwari, fled the scene after the attack. According to police, the argument started when Kanhaiya, reportedly a habitual drinker, demanded that his father, Satyaprakash Tiwari, arrange his marriage. In a fit of rage, Kanhaiya threatened to commit suicide. When his father tried to intervene, Kanhaiya assaulted him with a brick, striking him on the head and face. Neighbours alerted the police, who rushed the severely injured Satyaprakash to the hospital, but he was declared dead. Police arrested Kanhaiya on Thursday, and SP North Jitendra Kumar Srivastava confirmed the murder was the result of a family dispute.
