Maharashtra will observe a dry day on November 12 in observance of Kartiki Ekadashi, meaning no alcohol will be sold at liquor shops, pubs, bars, and restaurants in cities like Mumbai, Thane, and Pune. The dry day is part of the state’s broader plan to ensure liquor restrictions during the run-up to the upcoming assembly elections on November 20, with counting scheduled for November 23. The state will observe dry days on five different occasions this month, including a full dry day on November 12, followed by restrictions on November 18 after 6 PM, and another full dry day on November 19. On November 20 and 23, alcohol will not be sold until 6 PM. In light of these restrictions, local businesses like Dolaaly Craft Beers have encouraged customers to stock up, humorously posting on Instagram, “When Beer Run Dry, Fear Run High.” Prabodhini Ekadashi 2024 Greetings: Celebrate Dev Uthani Ekadashi by Sharing These Wishes, Lord Vishnu Images, HD Wallpapers and Messages on Kartiki Ekadashi.
