Bride and groom set themselves alight in incredible stunt

This is the bizarre moment a bride and groom are set alight on purpose while celebrating their wedding day.

Gabe Jessop and his wife Ambyr are both stunt doubles and thought it was only fitting to draw on their talent to add a unique touch to their big day.

A video of the moment shows the couple standing in their outfits with Ambyr carrying a bouquet of flowers.

A man approaches them with what appears to be a large lighter and sets the bouquet on fire.

The flame spreads to cover the couple’s backs as a photographer snaps the incredible scene.

The pair then start running past a crowd of guests before kneeling on the ground to allow a fire extinguisher to put the fire out.

The clip was shared on TikTok by wedding DJ Russ Powell, who said: “Ambyr & Gabe met on set. Their wedding exit makes sparklers look boring.”

The clip was viewed 15 million times and racked up 2.8 million likes.

One user commented: “Damn! A full burn to tie the knot.”

“I know that photographer was stressed,” joked another viewer.

Someone else said: “Please tell me the hair was protected,” to which Russ replied: “They both had anti-burn gel in their hair and face, then she had a wig on top.”

“So many things could’ve killed them in this video,” another viewer commented.

Someone else added: “If my marriage is not going to be this lit I’m leaving him at the alter.” [sic]

Other users compared it to The Hunger Games movie clip in which actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are similarly set alight.

It comes as we recently reported how one couple managed to plan a luxurious wedding for just £6,000.

Collet Collins, who tied the knot with her partner Kipras Collins in June 2021, during coronavirus restrictions, said they tried their hand at DIY to help with costs.

The couple also managed to save money on their wedding favours, by contacting a coffee shop Collet used to work at.

The owners agreed to provide each guest with a fully stamped loyalty card so they could all enjoy a free coffee.
