This comes amid a sudden spike in the number of Covid-19 cases across the country.

The Sunil Mittal-led telco joins Vodafone Idea (‘Vi’) which partnered with Aditya Birla Health Insurance (ABHI) in March to launch Vi Hospicare with an aim to offer health insurance benefits on prepaid recharges to its large subscribers base.

Airtel customers will be able to avail of services like Online/Virtual consultation with doctors and specialists; online test booking along with home sample collection facility; home delivery of medicines with cashback benefits, and access to the “UR Life” platform for content related to wellness.

At the same time, Airtel Platinum and Gold customers will get complimentary membership to Apollo Circle – a one of its kind program that enables healthcare access through digital technologies, the telco said in a statement.

These benefits can be availed through the Airtel Thanks app.

Airtel Platinum customers will get 12 months membership to Apollo Circle while Airtel Gold customers will get 3 months membership at no cost.
