Volunteers with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) saved a dog who fell 30 meters (98 feet) off a cliff near Dunmore, County Galway, Ireland, on August 19, the organization said. The Dunmore East RNLI motored out to get the dog, named Ellie, in an XP-class lifeboat in the early afternoon hours of August 19, the charity said on Facebook, and the pooch was quickly reunited with her family. тАЬWeather conditions were good at the time and our volunteer crew did a great job in rescuing little Ellie,тАЭ Roy Abrahamsson, Dunmore East RNLI Coxswain said in the post. тАЬOur concern with incidents like this is that dog owners may try to get down the cliff after the dog while endangering themselves. Thankfully this was not the case this time, the owners did the right thing in calling for help.тАЭ Credit: RNLI Dunmore East via Storyful
