Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): A 16-year-old girl was gang-raped by three men in a moving car in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh on Friday. The police have filed a case and arrested one of the accused, while efforts are underway to arrest the other two.
According to information, the three men raped the girl in a moving car and then abandoned her near RD Gardi Medical College.
According to the police, on Friday evening, a 16-year-old girl from the Chiman Ganji area was lured by a man named Sahil from Ahmad Nagar Colony on Agar Road.
He took her in his car towards RD Gardi Medical College, where two other men joined them. The three men then raped the minor in the moving car, covering her mouth to silence her.
Afterward, they abandoned her near RD Gardi Medical College and fled.
The minor returned home and informed her family about the incident. Her relatives then took her to the Chiman Ganji police station late on Friday night.
The police registered a case on Saturday against the accused. One of the accused, Sahil, has been arrested, while the search for his two accomplices is ongoing. The victim stated that Sahil had been following her for several days.
The police mentioned that the victim is still in a state of shock. The exact details of how she was lured and forced into the car are not fully clear yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
The accused is being questioned. SP Pradeep Sharma assured that the remaining two accused will be arrested soon.
